this was a good buy. Keeps water cold and hot component works well also. you do not have to take cap off water bottle cause there is a spiking apparatus that will spike a hole which is cool and avoid spillage. Purchased three, my brothers and sister wanted one for their homes.
THE GOOD..
&hot water is hot enough to enjoy coffee, but not scolding hot that will give you 3rd degree burns. However, if you like your cofee boiling hot, then this is not a plus for you.
&Light, can carry with one hand (But with lightness comes warm water).
THE BAD
& too short.. the water dispenser is at my waist level and I''m not really that tall. I am an average 5''11 guy. if you are a midgit, however you''ll enjoy this
THE UGLY
& Cold water is not cold at all (but is not room temperature either). I did not measure temperature, but I would say that if you get a room temperatura glass of water and put it in the ref for 15 or 20 minutes, you''ll get the same result.
& Water runs soooooo slowly. it takes about 14 seconds to fill a medium size glass of water. 14 seconds doesn''t sound like much, but start your chronometer and wait 14 seconds, thats how long you''ll wait to fill your glass and if your glass is wide and cant be put in the holder, you''ll have to bend over and hold it for 14 seconds everytime you have to fill your glass.
All in all, it works, and this beats drinking room temperature water or having to fill a jar to get cold water all the time (even thou water in a jar in the ref, is way colder) so I''ll keep it just because I dont want to go to the hassle of returning it, but if I had known I was going to get this piece of poop, I would pay the extra 30 dlls for a much better one.

Though to save energy I don''t have the hot water side turned on. Yes, there are two switches in the back for the hot and cold. I''m always looking for a good deal and this water cooler scored a 3/5 and the price was much lower then any other water cooler. I think I paid $68 shipped for the cooler. So i was happy... then it arrived.You will have these same problems if you buy this product:
1) It arrives and it''s shorter then most water coolers. "So what, no biggie" is what I thought. But I''ve owned this water cooler for 4+ months now. If you''re taller then 5''8" you will be bending over all the time to fill your cups, water bottles, coffee pots etc. I didn''t think this would be any problem but it works with the second problem....
2) The water comes out so slow. Filling up a water bottle 5-6 times a day and doing coffee when I''m tired in the morning takes FOREVER. Every time I''m at the slow pouring nozzle, I just keep thinking about how much time I''m losing standing hunched over as I''m watching water trickle into my water bottle. So much time that could be better spent doing anything. I feel like I''m a prisoner to my water cooler.
3) Plastic taste in the water... WOW when I first got this cooler the plastic taste was so strong we couldn''t drink the water. I had to youtube ideas and flushed the thing at least 5 times. I used so much vinegar/water flushes. At least 15-20 gallons of treatment flushed through the cooler before the plastic taste was gone.
4) Owning other water coolers this cooler doesn''t keep water very cold. I opened the back and saw the actual cooling tank and it holds the size of 2 cans of soda (in water)... that''s it. Luke warm water flushing in to your 2 cans of cold water as they''re being flushed out into your drink. Frustrating because I really like my water to taste fresh and cold.
I was actually shopping Amazon tonight to buy a new water cooler because this one sucks so much and I ran into this cooler again. I thought, the least I could do is warn you guys what you''re in for. (I personally value good customer reviews on amazon and it helps me buy good products, most of the time :) This was my own mistake though... I read the warnings.
In conclusion, this cooler sounds like a good deal at first, but over time you will be hunched over standing there doing NOTHING but waiting for water that''s just a tad colder then room temperature. And if you don''t treat it to get the plastic taste out... your water will taste like S*** for months.
You will save money and time by not buying this water-cooler.

This item is priced well. It is not a high quality machine but does the trick for home use. I think the one I got is refurbished, not brand new, as it came with a couple of small dents on it. This didn''t bother me since i keep it tucked away in a small dark office in my home. Also, it does make some noise which surprised me. Again, not bothersome if you don''t plan to put it in a prominent area of your home where it will be noticeable all the time. Set up and initial cleaning was a snap and the unit itself is very lightweight. It is cheap and delivers hot and cold, clean-tasting water and therefor meets all of my requirements.
