Nice long cord, although I would have it longer.

The only drawback is the pad does not stay securely on all the time.

Steam mop head too small for large areas, requiring numerous refills of reservoir & removal of dirt from the head. This item would be ideal for small surface areas. A bit pricey for it''s competition who sell it for about half of the price.

The water cup was too hard to got off to fill. The cloth for mopping the floor would not stay on the machine. Not for anyone with Arthritis!!!

I owned a Shark steam mop and it stopped working shortly after I bought it so I thought I''d try the Oreck. This can barely be called a steam mop! It makes noise like steam, but drips water all over the floor, leaving little puddles everywhere. Can''t walk on the floor for 30 minutes while all these puddles dry up. And even though I sweep and vacuum before using it, it just pushes any leftover dirt around the floor and deposits it in globs, most irritatingly against the baseboards. So the only way you should buy this is if your idea of cleaning your floor is to sweep, vacuum, use this so-called steam mop, then get down on your hands and knees to wipe up the leftover dirt and water. Don''t waste your money.
