We purchased the everpure complete kits with hot and cold in an appliance store and brought the replacement unit online every other years since it''s more convenience for us . We have been using this home unit for almost ten years with no problems. Our household size is small and we purely use it as drinking water and not for cooking. For cooking, it''s fine to use tap water since its boiling temperature will do the work. It''s very convenience than buying bottle water. The only thing I like Everpure unit to improve is that instead of packing with a battery indicator reminder, it''s better to come with something such as paper test strips to simply testing the water condition periodically so I can tell exactly when to replace the filters.

I use these for filtering the city''s water for my soda fountain. They do a good job. Soda tastes good and no more build up on the fountain heads. Easy to change out yourself.

Received the system within a week of ordering, but I haven''t had it installed yet as I am waiting for the countertops to be installed. The product was packed with newspaper in a box but there were no installation instructions and all the fittings and parts were in a ziploc bag. Only one of the filter cannisters was shrink wrapped and the other was damaged.

The product is excellent. Been using Everpure for more than a decade. In this case, I liked the dealer (through this page) who sold it, but now we seem to have other dealers who are charging way too much. Price for these should be around $150.
