- Culligan Sales No.SW-2A 3/4" Housing Wrench
- The SW-2 wrench makes changing water filters easy.
- The SW-2 can be used with standard whole house housings.
The serrations on the wrench fit on the indentations on the lower filtration housing providing an exact fit. HOld on to the filtration cap with one hand and turn the wrench with the other hand. You don''t want to torque the water filtration cap too much, or the copper water pipes leading in or out may become dislodged.

Hi.I bought one of these and then bought 3 more to be safe because the first one broke, in my opinion, way too easily!
The cap on my water filter is on tight. Very tight. I didn''t know at that time that buy being very liberal with vasoline on the threads of the filter cap, makes the cap go on easier, come off easier and it makes for a nice seal on the filter housing.
So, the cap was on pretty tight and i did have to use some muscle to get it off, but i did NOT expect that this thing would crack in the front. Not the handle, but the rounded side. So i had to order a few more before i could change my filter.
My second one has held up better than the first. I''ve had several filter changes and it''s not broke yet. I do have 2 more in reserve though, just in case.
I give this 4 stars for durability vs. 5 starts because of how easily that first one broke.
I have and would, buy this again.
Thanks

I ordered one with purchasing Culligan product but was one in package too. Very needed to open up the filter Cartridge.Just get one of these if you have a filter housing you need to open. I have the Culligan HF-150A and it fits perfectly. Sure you could use some giant channel lock pliers, but it''s probably not the best idea. Just this wrench next to your filter and you are good to go. No brainer!
