Since living in a house with a shower that has glass doors/walls, I''ve been searching for the best cleaner for that glass. It seemed that nothing would get the soap scum off, no matter how hard or how many different products I tried. Then I asked a janitor at my work, what she would recommend, and she said to use the Comet Spray... I ran out and bought some and have since been hooked. You simply spray it onto the walls/glass, and let it just drip down.... there is normally no wiping involved you can simply run the shower water over the walls after several minutes after you''ve sprayed, and it will just wash away the soap scum and it will be clean and shiny! I was very impressed and will never use anything else! I''ve recommended this product to all of my friends and family, and have never heard a negative comment about it. Definitely worth whatever price tag it is marked with!!
This stuff is great. I bought it primarily for getting rid of hard water stains on our glass shower doors. We have very hard water. Sometimes the landlady is slow to put more salt in the water softener and the result is we have (had) a really bad mineral buildup on the glass shower doors. I tried everything over the years to get it off vinegar, KABOOM, SOS pads, Lime Away you name it, I tried it. Nothing worked. The glass always looked like it was frosted glass instead of clear glass because of the mineral buildup. Until I tried this stuff. More than ten years of mineral buildup from the hard water melted away as if by magic. The buildup on the metal frame dissolved easily but that on the glass doors took repeated applications of the Comet over several hours (mostly letting the stuff soak in). It was worth the effort. For the first time in more than 10 years, the shower doors are clear glass instead of clouded over by hard water buildup. I think now that the old, really hardened on minerals are dissolved, it will be easier to keep the shower doors mineral buildup free by using this product every time I clean the shower.

I bought this to see if it would help remove the hard water stains/spots on my stainless steel kitchen sink and it worked like a charm. It is not recommended for porous surfaces so I was careful not to let it get onto my granite countertops. I love love looooove this bathroom cleaner. When my husband and I moved to our first home we were surrounded by filth. The bathroom was the worst room. Apparently the people that lived there before us didn''t care very much about being clean. There were hard water stains, soap scum, and mildew everywhere. I had to use bleach to get rid of the mildew but the Comet took care of everything else. My shower is now soap scum and hard water stain free.Another reviewer said you could just spray it in the shower and then rinse it off. I usually take a cup and wet the walls first, spray on the Comet, wipe it down with a rag, and then rinse it off. There is one thing you should know though. This cleaner has a very strong smell that burns your throat and nose. If you have a built in vent in your bathroom, make sure you turn it on. If not, leave the room a couple times while cleaning. If you breathe it in too much it is hard to breathe and can make you cough.
