Good transaction. The filter seems to always have been a little shaken up with one or two layers internally shifted. It seems that as long as the layers aren''t too out of whack, the filter is still ok.

Only semi-negative thing was that the seal on both end were shaped different than original filter but it appears to be working as it should and with no leaks.

This is my 3rd filter and I have to say the taste and quality of the filtration is incredible for the money. And it continues to perform as advertised up to 1 year. Installation of the replacement is not the easiest, but for a counter-top 10-stage filter that only needs to be replaced once a year, it''s a minor inconvenience that I''m more than willing to go through.
