We purchased this as a replacement to the faucet that came with our filtration system. The other one was cheap painted chrome. This one felt heavier and of better build. The flow is nice and isn''t some little drip. Definitely a better replacement faucet.Read Best Reviews of Watts 116154 Standard Faucet Here
Actually ordered the wrong one. I meant to order the "air gap" model, but wasn''t paying attention so I had to bypass the air gap by cutting it out. I had to get a 3/8" x 1/4" coupling and a 3/8" backflow preventer (ordered through Watts), but works perfect. Much nicer faucet than the original one that came with the osmosis system. By the way, no instructions.Want Watts 116154 Standard Faucet Discount?
I installed one of these about a year ago to provide filtered water alongside a regular faucet. The faucet connected to the filter easily using 1/4" flex lines, and only required a single fairly small hole for mounting. It''s much nicer quality than the cheap chrome-coated plastic versions from the big-box stores, and the stainless finish blends better with stainless sinks and faucets. The control lever is a little touchy and the faucet did drip a little at first, but the dripping stopped within a day or two, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that the faucet can be locked "on" by pulling the handle up. This is handy for filling large pitchers or ice cube trays where it helps to have both hands free. When I received this item, I could not find any mention of the manufacturer "Watts" anywhere on the packaging. Instead, the product was labeled as a Pureteck Co. Inc F-01 Series Non-Air Gap faucet. There was a sticker in the corner with the part number 116154 and standard brush stainless for the finish. My first contact to Amazon customer service led to them sending me a replacement, which was packaged exactly the same way. On subsequent contact, no one could tell me if this was the correct product, so they agreed to do a full review and eventually concluded that this was indeed the correct item. When I finally installed the item, I was impressed by the construction. The faucet and under-sink stem seem to be one assembly and are very solid. I bought this to pair with the Culligan US-EZ-3 filter and to replace the faucet included with that kit. I sure am glad I did. The Culligan faucet is far inferior in construction.
Installation was straight forward and initial performance is what I expected. I don''t see any reason why this faucet won''t last a long time.
