This preforms so much better than any pur or brita filter I have ever had. The taste is better, The construction is better. It is well worth the price.

i used a Omni Corporation CB1-SS Carbon Block Undersink Replacement Cartridge with my unit, and the unit DOSE NOT COME WITH A FILTER. So expect it and consider that this 1 filter will last for about 2 years, the filter system will last well over 10 years. Compare that to a normal faucet mount and add up the savings (both my Brita and pur units lasted only 1 year before cracking and leaking). The body is the same filter canister you would find in a omni filter under sink carbon or reverse osmosis unit and uses/comes with the same wrench.

I bought it about 3 weeks ago. I have not tried it yet. I am taken it as a gift overseas. I think it is all right. However, it did not come with filter. I had to call customer service numerous times for the filter. I was told that I have to buy filter. I argued that it should come with one like most of the other companies and I threaten to return it back. Finally one of the agent sent one with no charge. I thank her for her service.

FILTER NOT INCLUDED. I know I''m an idiot for not reading the reviews. I only looked at how many stars without noticing that it was just the sum of 2 reviews. So if you''re going to buy this don''t assume it comes with a filter (like it should). Also, I don''t see anything special about this for the price, it looks like the same plastic model as all the rest. If I wasn''t so lazy, I''d send it back.
