Washing Machine Inline Water Filter

Purchased this item and right out of the bag its threads were stripped and would not fit onto the fittings. Made very cheap and not even worth the money they want. Some might be OK but I have talked with others that got the same and all of theirs were bad also. DO NOT BUY

This has saved me alot of aggravation. We are in a rural area on well water and the washing machine filter was getting clogged every other wash. After attaching this filter to the water line I have gone more than 1 month with no clogs at all.

I''m trying this filter to see if it can help with well water problems. If you have well water you have sediment. I know it will filter the water the question is HOW LONG BEFORE THE FILTER NEEDS REPLACED? The filters are a bit expensive depending on how many you need in a year. The installation was quick and simple just turn off water and screw on filter. Will report back after I have some months use.

Very much pleased with this filter. Purchased another for the hot side. Water flow was good and when I noticed a slowing of the flow I replaced filters, this was at about seven months. I have read where the threads were bad; have not run into that problem. So, I''m happy with and use this filter highly recommended.
