Buy Roebic FRK-6 Foaming Root Killer Now
We have tree roots in our sewer line, in the middle of the city street. Not exactly the best of situations. After years of constantly having to "regularly" pay to have the roots cut out, and trying all sorts of root kill products, I finally found this on Amazon. The foaming action is the key. It fills the entire sewer line, including the top, where many roots invade...... result, it kills them. I use it about once a year, and have had no problems for quite a while now. Highly recommended.Read Best Reviews of Roebic FRK-6 Foaming Root Killer Here
Had our pipe scoped out to the main some root penetration was visible at the seams hopefully this product is keeping them back so far, so good...Note you need to get this stuff out of the container in one shot, as it starts foaming immediately, so make sure it''s not clumped up before you try to empty it.

Seven years ago our main sewer line started backing up into the house. I rented a plumber''s snake and routed the line. When I removed the snake, the cutting blade was filled with small tree roots. After researching "root killer systems" I tried Roebic. I have been using it once a year since with no recurrent sewerline problems. It works wonderfully. As has been stated elsewhere, the product tends to clump in the package over time (I buy mine a year in advance). Don''t try to empty this clumped product directly from the package into the toilet or it can overflow. I dump it into an old coffee can or pail and use an old fashioned mashed potato masher to break up the clumps and then dump it into the toilet from the larger container. Also, do not stand there and watch it work or you will watch it overflow. Flush immediately after pouring the entire contents into the toilet. Wait a few seconds after toilet refills and then flush again. Try to do this at night before bed time or before you go out for the day to let the product work as undesturbed as possible for several hours.I''ve bought this online various places (once a year) and my problems went away once I started using it. I have always had it come clumped. There are two parts, the root killer itself and the stuff that foams, they are in the bottle separated by a piece of paper. Dump them out in acontainer (I use an old yougurt container then discard it), mix the two powders THEN dump it. Wear gloves and googles, be careful (just in case)
