I found this brand filter the best buy from the others on the shelf. You can''t beat 200 gallons for about 15 bucks. The 100 gallon size costs almost 11 bucks so the 200 runs about $7.50 per 100 gallons. Not bad for a faucet mount.Gets a 4* rating. Can''t give It a 5* because It just cannot give you 100% pure clean water.

I used to use brita pitchers, but always had trouble keeping track of when they needed changed. I grabbed a faucet dispenser (DuPont WFFM350XBN Electric Metered 200-Gallon Deluxe Faucet Mount Premium Water Filtration Filter, Brushed Nickel) for this filter because it kept a log of how much water you used, and that was about 2 years ago. I can no longer find replacement cartridges where I bought them, so I get them here.

My tastes aren''t particularly demanding, but my area water has a slight aftertaste to it that I find unpleasant, and this filter is more than sufficient to counter that. I suspect pretty much any decent filter would be sufficient for that -I imagine they all do it the same way, with a bit of carbon filtering. Hopefully it also filters out everything it says it is filtering out, but I can''t really confirm that. The main selling point for me is the meter on the faucet mount, which not only ensures I don''t inadvertently replace it too early or too late, but also helps me keep a little better track of my own water intake.

This tasted bad for a while and then it exploded in the tap holder and now it shoots water everywhere.My wife and daughter just laugh at me .I think the bottom of the canister popped off under pressure. Too late to return it........

This is the replacement of filter. I couldn''t find it anywhere so ordered it on line. For a simple water filter, this works great. I have bought more expensive filters that didn''t do as well as this. I''m not saying that other systems aren''t better, but for the money I am very pleased with this unit.
