The water purifier arrived safely, intact and has been purifying my tap water ever since. No problem. Fully satisfied.

I have been using this item for the past five years. It lasts for about one year before replacement and is really an invaluable resource for getting a ''pure'' glass of water straight from the kitchen tap.

Unfortunately my in-laws are Amway people, so for our wedding gift we got the eSpring water purifier. I knew it was expensive and I was grateful to get it, but when I found out a few months later that the filter was already in need of replacement and that it was $175.00 I was pretty bummed. This was the best deal I could find on a replacement, so it gets 3 stars. The product itself, well, it is really hard to say whether I am saving money with this filter in comparison to others. I do know that it is not cheap, but we don''t have good tap water in my area so my alternatives are bottled water or other filters.

The procedure and instructions for the removal and replacement of the Amway Espring UV Water treatment filter almost requires the skill of a professional plumber. My unit is located under the kitchen sink the instructions are very poorly written. When the cost of the filter $175 and the time consuming procedure involved in replacing the cartridge are taken into consideration, investing in the Amway UV water filter is not recommended.

I bought this one because I thought it was the same model as my filter, since it looks so much like the one we have and the model was about the same. But it''s no quite the same. So be careful and make sure this is the right one, because it tends to leak a little bit, otherwise, it does the job.
