The original filter in my Kenmore humidifier had finally gotten to where it was not doing anything worth while, so I ordered this one. The wording on Amazon makes me believe that this is a factory Kenmore filter, and it works great, so I believe it probably is. My humidifier is a lot more efficient now and is putting a lot more moisture in the air than it did with my old worn out (clogged / dirty) filter.
