Let me start off by saying that 5 years ago, we moved to a place with VERY rusty (iron-filled) water. It was so stinky that it made me gag when I would brush my teeth and all of our sinks, toilets, washing machine, and dishwasher were streaky with orange, rust smears. We purchased a whole house water filtration system and it has made a HUGE difference. We were using the brand of filters that came with the system, but they are not available in very many places. I have tried several different brands and none of them lasted very long. Finally, I found this Culligan water filter on Amazon and ordered it. I just ordered my second one to replace the first and we realized that the first one had lasted twice as long as other brands. Plus, it was the same price as some of the other types! We will stick with the Culligan filter.

We use this filter for our well that has lots of sediment, It is hard to find in our area. Great price, we order 2 at a time since we have to change the filter every month.

What is there to say? The filters work as they are supposed to work; we have a lot of iron and sediment in our well water, and the whole-house filter really makes a difference; the filter lasts about 4 months.

I have been very satisfied with this filter and have been using it to filter our well water, which comes in with lots of sediment of all types. I need to mention though, that the product information here says this filter lasts 3 months or up to 5,000 gallons and on the package that I received, it says 6 months or up to 10,000 gallons. So that means that this product actually is much cheaper (50% cheaper, to be exact) than I thought. I hope that the vendor will correct this!

I don''t know much about water filters, other than that we are really happy with this one, we love using the subscribe & save option, which reminds us to change the filter (I had to change the delivery from 3 to 6 months) and I really wanted you to know there is an error here. Everything else is correct.
