Seems to work. This is the only cartridge that fits in my filter, so I have to use it. It says to replace every 90 days but I usually go 4 months. Water does taste better with a new filter though. I definitely do not like that it is infused with antimicrobial agent...not to kill germs in your water, but to keep biogrowth (algae) from accumulating on the filter. The filtering action should be enough and the whole point of filtering the water is to remove the chlorine and other junk, so who knows how much residue is making it through.

I have the American Standard faucet that has a built in filter. This is easy to change and works well. My only worry is the filters will not be available in the future.

This item fits as advertised and satisfies the replacement requirement of the system. I am glad that I can obtain cartridges from Amazon as Home Depot refuses to ship to CA. Thanks for keeping in stock, other wise I would have to spend a hunnert plus bucks to replace the entire system.
