This product is fairly easy to install and to change filters. You can go on auto-delivery and never have to remember when to change the filters. The water tastes crisp and looks crystal-clean. The only downside is it tends to drip a bit after you turn it off. --well worth the price

works great. The under the sink version is nice since the filter assembly is out of the way. Water tastes great and I like the fact that it can filter out chemicals that other filters can''t. Installation was easy.

After 2 years or so it still works fine. One thing I noticed is that the metal faucet has a small retaining clip inside it where the base meets the long metal tube. That clip is not stainless and does corrode. (this is something you would find if you take apart the faucet). It''s a water system, nothing should be able to rust. Bad design or cutting corners? Regardless it still works but I do wonder if that part will matter later on.

For several years I was a very satisfied owner of the Aquasana under the counter filter system. The filters would last about five months until the water flow devolved into a trickle and needed to be replaced. At some point in 2011 Aquasana changed the filter design and the new filters clogged up after just a few weeks. I contacted the company and was told they had a problem with the glue used in the filters in one batch and they''d replace my filters for the cost of shipping. Fine. Well, the same thing happened again. Contacting the company once more I was told the filters had a new design and a pre-filter was now required. They shipped me the pre-filter. Once again, after about six weeks (and a 2nd pre-filter) water flow is virtually non-existent!

ENOUGH! I am done with Aquasana as I refuse to pay $50 every six weeks AND deal with the hassles of changing filters and pre-filters so often. What a shame. They''ve ruined what used to be an excellent system. If anyone knows of a system that actually works, please advise.

We really enjoy the water filter and waited at least a month to review it. We had an Amway filter for years and it was very expensive to replace the

filter and was a pain to open up and always hoped it wouldn''t leak so when it broke we were done and decided to try something different. This is when

we got the Aquasana. Wow what a difference to put in and maintain. For 1/2 the price and the same great filtered water I''m sold on it! The only reason

I gave it only 4 stars is because the water doesn''t turn off when you turn it off, it does take a while to stop. Other than that it is great and we look forward

to using it for years to come.

As noted in previous reviews, the filter produces very good tasting (clean tasting) water but it''s slower than the previous filter I had and drips a while after turning it off. However, the ease of installation and water filter replacement, as well as the quality of water produced, outweigh these inconveniences (for me).
