I bought this product to assemble myself a water filter system for less, but this filter crtridges is made cheap and leaked water on the treading nothinstanding the fact that there''s a rubber ring. Notrecommended.

Leaked no matter what I did. On the black top I could not get the fittings I screwed in to totally stop leaking. I used teflon tape and did it correct. Take a hard look at it. Do you think this unit is really going to seal up and not leak? Not for me. The clear part where it screwed into the upper did not leak, but where the fittings screw in, it was drip drip drip. Should have made it more heavy duty and cut better threads. Send it back to china. Send it back to china. Send it back to china. Send it back to china. Send it back to china.
